The daughter of an officer grew after the untimely death of her father with her mother and three siblings in Munich. Her family came originally from northern Germany. After graduating in 1965 at St. Anne's Girls High school (now the Municipal St. Anne's School), they initially wanted to study art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, but then decided to study medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich . In 1971 she completed a doctorate on "parotid gland tumors in childhood." In her time as a medical assistant, she worked on diabetes mellitus in hospital Munich-Schwabing with Hellmut Mehnert (born February 22, 1928 in Leipzig), with plastic surgery with Ursula Schmidt-ink man in the Klinikum rechts der Isar and radiology at the Municipal Hospital Harlaching. In June 2010 Kühnemann made public its breast disease. After surgery in February, she was receiving chemotherapy, reported the 63-year-olds in the magazine BUNTE.
